This policy aims to create a safe environment where individuals feel empowered to raise concerns about misconduct without fear of retaliation. It outlines protections for whistleblowers, the process for reporting concerns, and how Care Mobile supports and protects those who disclose issues in good faith.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Current and former employees, contractors, suppliers, and their employees.
- Associates, relatives, dependents, or spouses of those listed above.
It covers disclosures about misconduct, improper practices, or a concerning state of affairs within Care Mobile’s operations or supply chain. This policy does not apply to personal work-related grievances, which should follow Care Mobile’s Grievance Procedure.
3. Disclosable Matters
Disclosable matters include, but are not limited to:
- Fraud, corruption, or illegal conduct.
- Mismanagement of funds or financial irregularities.
- Breaches of legal or regulatory obligations.
- Actions posing a risk to public health, safety, or the environment.
- Retaliation or detrimental treatment against someone who has raised concerns.
Disclosures do not need to involve a breach of specific laws; issues indicating a significant risk may also qualify.
4. Reporting Concerns
Disclosures can be made to the Whistleblower Protection Officer (WPO) or other authorized individuals, including senior managers, auditors, or legal practitioners. Reports can also be submitted anonymously via:

Reports should include as much detail as possible to facilitate investigation, such as the nature of the concern, individuals involved, and supporting evidence.
5. Protections for Whistleblowers
Care Mobile provides the following protections for eligible whistleblowers:
- Confidentiality: The whistleblower’s identity will not be disclosed unless required by law.
- Protection from Detrimental Acts: Actions like harassment, dismissal, or discrimination against a whistleblower are strictly prohibited.
- Compensation: Whistleblowers may seek legal remedies if they experience harm due to their disclosure.
- Liability Protection: Whistleblowers are protected from civil, criminal, or administrative liability in relation to their disclosures.
6. Investigation Process
Upon receiving a disclosure, the WPO will assess whether the matter qualifies for protection and if an investigation is required. Investigations will be conducted confidentially and fairly, with updates provided to the whistleblower if contact details are available.
7. Accessibility and Awareness
This policy will be:
- Published on Care Mobile’s website for easy access.
- Included in employee training and onboarding programs.
- Communicated regularly to employees, contractors, and suppliers.
8. Breaches of Policy
Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contracts. Breaches may also result in legal consequences for individuals involved.
