- Forbidding dishonest accounting or concealment of financial activities.
- Restricting political donations on behalf of Care Mobile.
- Limiting charitable donations to those approved in writing by the CEO, following internal policies.
A bribe is offering or giving anything of value to gain an improper business advantage. A facilitation payment is a payment to expedite routine government actions. Both are strictly prohibited, even if considered common practice in certain regions.
4. Managing Bribery and Corruption Risks
Care Mobile mitigates bribery and corruption risks by:
- Conducting risk assessments and due diligence for potential employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners.
- Including anti-bribery obligations in contracts with third parties.
- Monitoring transactions and identifying irregularities, such as unusual payment requests or non-standard fees.
- Keeping accurate records of risk assessments, transactions, and controls.
- Responding promptly to any incidents or changes that increase risks.
- Providing regular training on anti-bribery laws and promoting a culture where concerns can be reported without fear of retaliation.
5. Reporting Concerns
If you encounter or become aware of bribery or corruption, you must:
- Reject any improper requests or offers immediately.
- Report incidents in writing to your manager or the designated Compliance Officer.
- Utilize Care Mobile’s Whistleblower Policy for confidential reporting and protection.
6. Breach of Policy
Compliance with this policy is mandatory. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contracts. Individuals involved in breaches may also face legal consequences, including fines or imprisonment.
7. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually to ensure relevance and compliance with evolving laws and industry standards.
