Ovarian Cancer Australia (OCA) stands for, and walks with, everyone impacted by ovarian cancer and ensures no one walks alone.  OCA is the only organisation in Australia that provides free access to specialist ovarian cancer nurses and holistic support programs to anyone affected by ovarian cancer, no matter where they live.

OCA’s breadth of support programs includes:

  • Teal Support Program – a dedicated specialist ovarian cancer nurse to provide personalised support around diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
  • Psychology and counselling support – including specialist evidence-based psychological interventions such as a sexuality and menopause program and CanSleep for insomnia.
  • Support for carers – via a private Facebook Support Group for carers, family members and friends, and a dedicated Male Partners Support Group.
  • Free Support Resources – Hard-copy and downloadable support resources including a Resilience Kit, a practical, compassionate guide with vital information on diagnosis and treatment, giving women a sense of clarity and control.
  • Helpline – a direct support line that connects people impacted by ovarian cancer, their partners, family, and friends with an ovarian cancer nurse.

OCA also amplifies the voices of the ovarian cancer community and drives national change, advocating for increased research funding, health system reform, and timely access to better treatments.
