Care Mobile Donations Policy

Effective Charitable Giving Through Your Mobile Service

At Care Mobile, we are committed to supporting meaningful causes through a transparent and efficient donation program. This Donations Policy outlines the terms under which charitable contributions are collected and distributed to customer-selected charities.

1. Donation Structure

Care Mobile will contribute 10% of:

  • The base value of your monthly mobile plan
  • Excluding:
    • GST
    • interest or late payment charges
    • additional services

to a charity of your choice from our list of approved partners.

Donations are made on a monthly or quarterly basis, subject to the following conditions:

  • Your selected charity must have an active partnership with Care Mobile
  • Your account must be active (see Section 2)

2. Definition of Active Service

A service is deemed active when your monthly phone plan bill is fully paid and current.

Donations are suspended if:

  • A payment is missed or the account is overdue
  • The service is suspended or cancelled for any reason

Donations will resume once the account returns to good standing.

3. Donation Payment Terms

Donations are only made after full payment of your mobile bill for the applicable billing cycle.
Monthly statements will include:
  • The donation amount for the current period
  • The year-to-date total of Donations

Once a Donation is transferred to a charity, it is non-refundable and non-reversible, unless required by law, including in the event of service cancellation.

4. Charity Participation and Continuity

Donations are directed only to charities that maintain an active agreement with Care Mobile.

If our partnership with your selected charity ends:

    • You will be notified and invited to choose another charity
    • If no new charity is selected within the specified timeframe, Care Mobile will assign a default charity from our approved list

5. Customer Information and Transparency

To comply with applicable laws and ensure transparency in the Donation process, Care Mobile may share limited customer information with the nominated charity for reconciliation and audit purposes. Shared details may include:
  • Full name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email address
  • Donation amount
  • Transaction reference

You consent to sharing this information.

Customers may also receive a confirmation message from the selected charity. Additionally, customers may opt in to receive charity impact updates, inspiring stories, and opportunities to further support their chosen cause.

6. Policy Amendments

Care Mobile reserves the right to modify this Donations Policy at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be communicated through our website and/or direct customer notifications.
